This bulletin aims to provide an overview of broad journey to work trends for local government areas (LGAs) in South-East Queensland and other surrounding areas. All data have been derived from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) 2001 Census of Population and Housing. For the 2001 Census, journey to work study areas were expanded from the 1996 Census geography of major urban areas to encompass all of Australia.
