Queensland Government population projections, 2018 edition, have been released for Queensland, statistical areas level 4 (SA4s), local government areas (LGAs) and statistical areas level 2 (SA2s). The papers presented below provide information on the research processes, methodology and assumptions used to produce these projections.

Methodology and assumptions provides a brief description of the methodologies used to produce population projections for the 2018 edition at each level of geography (state, SA4, LGA and SA2), and the underlying assumptions about population growth at the state and SA4 level.
