Queensland Population (Bulletin 5 Census 2001) (archived)

This bulletin contains information on Queensland’s population, including size and composition, change and trends, natural increase, migration, and a range of demographic characteristics. Most of the data come from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) 2001, 1996 and 1991 Censuses of Population and Housing, and where indicated, from other releases by the ABS. Census data in this bulletin are on a place of enumeration basis. For more detail on migration, see the forthcoming bulletins on interstate, overseas and intrastate migration.
