This bulletin provides an overview of key statistics relating to Queensland's women, derived from the ABS' Census of Population and Housing. Topics include Queensland's age profile, regional population distribution, Indigenous status and number of overseas-born by gender. Females' participation in education and women's weekly incomes, living arrangements and contributions to unpaid activities such as domestic work, caring for children and providing assistance to persons with a disability are also presented.
