People and communities Social isolation
Statistical outputs presenting the social isolation findings from the Queensland Social Survey (QSS) 2022. The objective of the QSS 2022 social isolation questions was to capture information about social groups and connections with neighbours, friends and family.
The social isolation questions were included in the QSS for the first time in 2021 and replaced the social cohesion questions from the 2017–2020 collections.
