This report provides an update of multifactor productivity (MFP) estimates for Queensland and the Rest of Australia. Productivity performance is best analysed in terms of productivity cycles, the last of which is estimated to have ended in 2007–08. The main goal of producing MFP estimates is to understand the importance of productivity in driving economic growth and improving living standards.
