Queensland Government Statistician’s Office’s broadhectare study identifies the location and quantifies the area, timing of development, and dwelling yield of larger land parcels to house a specified region’s growing population. Each study involves consultation and collaboration with local government, the Urban Development Institute of Australia (Queensland) and major developers.

Interactive projected school-aged persons map, 2018 edition (data visualisation)
The projected school-aged persons maps (and tables), 2018 edition, provide the average annual growth of projected primary and secondary school–age persons, by statistical area level 2 (SA2) in Queensland, from 2016 to 2041 by five–year projection interval, in both spatial and tabular formats.
This release is consistent with the Queensland Government population projections, 2018 edition.
The Interactive projected school-aged persons map, 2018 edition provides access to average annual growth of projected primary and secondary school–age persons data, for all Queensland SA2 regions. It features the ability to search for street addresses and school names, zoom capabilities and a Google road map layer.
